This data depicts the boundaries of the land use designations that were defined in DOE's Preferred Alternative of the Hanford Comprehensive Land-Use Plan Environmental Impact Statement, DOE/EIS-0222-F, September 1999 (CLUP). That alternative became the final land use plan in DOE's associated Record of Decision. An Amended Record of Decision in September 2008 retained the same land use boundaries, so this remains the definitive land use plan for the Hanford Site. We presume the data was finalized at the time of the publication of the CLUP, but don't know the precise date of publication. In this metadata record, the earliest known date when the data was shared by Linda Dietz has been used as the publication date.
